In a crackdown against organized crime in Bihar’s Buxar district, six persons were arrested along with a large haul of arms and ammunition from different places in past two days, a police officer said on Monday.The police raided a hideout near Chausa More under Chausa police sation area and arrested two miscrents and recovered six country-made pistols from them, Superintendent of Police (SP) Upendra Kumar Sharma said.

The raid was a follow up action after arrest of four other alleged anti-socials with two pistols, a country-made revolver, a .315 bore gun and 25 ammunition from Naya Bazar locality under Mufassil police station area yesterday, he said.The arrested persons were suspected to be members of Chandan Mishra and Botal Mahto gang, the duo presently lodged in Buxar Central Jail, Sharma said.
