In four different locations of Gaya six persons were found dead within 12 hours.The first incident took place in Neemchak Bathani where grandmother and granddaughter were strangulated to death.

It is being alleged that eve-teasing was the reason behind the killing.The deceased identified as Saura Khatoon, aged 80 years and Aasmeen Parveen aged 14 years.It was reported that both of the deceased were sleeping alone in a room in their house.However, in another incident, Narayan Prasad, farmer of Chahra Pehra village in Damuriya was beaten to death with batons during an argument.In the third incident, Tajjudin was killed over an election rivalry in Wajeerganj of Chen Bigha.And the fourth incident took place in Alavpur vilage of Fatehpur where police recovered two bodies from a well packed in a sack.According to police, after the murder the bodies were thrown in the well. The police is investigating the matter.
