Fourteen convicts along with notorious criminal Santosh Jha were on Tuesday presented before Darbhanga court in connection with December 26 murder case of two engineers working with a Darbhanga road project.But, interestingly the main accused Santosh Jha was seen interacting with the other convicts and one Abhishek Jha who is a prisoner at Gopalganj jail was seen seeking blessing by touching Santosh’s feet.
In December 2015, Santosh had asked for extortion money worth Rs 75 lakh from the engineering department. But, after his demand was not entertained, he shot two engineers Mukesh Singh and Brajesh Kumar dead.

The incident of touching a convict’s feet has raised many questions on the laxity of the security guards and police present there.
