nazir (head clerk) Pankaj Kumar and looted a bag containing the cash while he was on way to the block office after withdrawing the said amount from the Punjab National Bank (PNB) branch located in that village, Gaighat police station in-charge Rambalak Yadav said.The looted amount was meant for distribution of pension to retired employees, he said.A case has been lodged in this connection and raids were being carried out to nab the culprits, Yadav said.
